Courses

Explore the inspirational range of courses delivered by our local providers.

Choose from hundreds of courses designed to gain new skills, help improve your wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation and move towards employment.

Courses are available for all ages, from 19 years and above. Concessions are normally available to learners aged 19 or over on the 31 August at the start of each academic year and who have been resident in the UK/EU for the past three years.

Our classes are small and friendly and our tutors teach with passion and expertise in a welcoming, safe and supportive environment.

If you are not able to attend in-person, we have a selection of courses that are delivered on-line. If you’re new to on-line learning or don’t have equipment to access online courses, speak to our provider/s and they’ll see what we can do to support you to get started. Please contact our provider/s direct to learn more about their on-line offer.

Our Courses

There are two types of courses that you can choose from:

Accredited courses

  • These typically lead to a qualification
  • You will take assessments or exams as part of the course.
  • A discretionary learner support fund may also be available to help you pay for the exam fee (criteria applies).

Non-accredited courses

  • These give you an introduction to a subject or can build on your existing knowledge.
