Learn New Skills with Local Courses

You can choose from a wide range of inspiring courses offered by local providers. These courses are designed to help you:

  • Learn new skills
  • Improve your well-being
  • Feel less lonely or isolated
  • Take steps towards getting a job

Courses are open to anyone aged 19 and over. Free courses are available if you:

  • Are 19 or older on August 31st at the start of the academic year, and
  • Are a resident in the UK on the first day of learning (i.e. a person who normally lives in the UK, is allowed to live in the UK by law, and returns to the UK after temporary trips outside the country.)

Classes are small, friendly, and taught by passionate tutors in a safe and supportive environment.

If you can’t attend in person, there are online courses available. If you’re new to online learning or don’t have the right equipment, contact the learning provider—they may be able to help you get started.

Our Courses

Accredited courses

  • These typically lead to a qualification
  • You will take assessments or exams as part of the course.

Non-accredited courses

  • These give you an introduction to a subject or can build on your existing knowledge.
