Suffolk’s Kickstart Scheme. Kickstart is a national programme designed by the Department for Work & Pensions to provide six-month employment placements for 16-24s on Universal Credit to assist them in gaining the skills and experience they need to succeed in the future
Work Well Suffolk provides support to engage with education, training and employment, improve employment opportunities, promote independence, choice and wellbeing and encourages participation in work related activities.
We offer courses that support improvements in Health, Wellbeing, self-esteem and confidence. With an aim to support the removal of barriers to social inclusion, employment or barriers encountered as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our courses are designed to help adults with a learning disability, autism, sensory loss and/or mental health conditions, to improve their social inclusion, confidence, self-esteem and well-being.
Learn Radio and Music Production with our iSounds course and Digital DJ and Media with iDeeJay.
For advanced learning we have the Radio Production and Media course iSounds+ and Digital DJ and Media course IDeeJay+.

Our “Step Up” courses aim to provide adults 19-25 years old the opportunity to gain industry-related training and qualifications required as a stepping-stone into employment.
These courses enable our students to gain the qualifications and training they require to get onto their desired career path including CSCS card training and Health & Safety qualifications to name a few.

We run free Family Learning classes, engagement workshops and Digital Skills courses for all nationalities at a range of venues across Ipswich. Our classes cater to all levels and help many local migrants and refugees every week. Our experienced tutors can provide support classes for the “Life in the UK” test.

The “Positive Change” programme is designed to empower adults to make a positive lifestyle change to assist you in removing some of the barriers that you face in getting into the labour market. The course promotes health and wellbeing throughout with the aim to prepare learners for a healthier and positive lifestyle.
